In 2007, one of BWIC’s strongest supporters, Carolyn Holleran, envisioned a leadership giving program for women that would provide solid, dependable, unrestricted funding for the agency.
Seven years have passed since the first pledge of support to PeaceTrust 100. An enthusiastic response from 100 Partners within the campaign’s first month inspired a new goal and a new name—Peace Trust 200. The vision quickly became reality. In 2012, PeaceTrust expanded its goal to 300 members.
Each PeaceTrust Partner has pledged $500 a year for five years to help support the mission of Berks Women in Crisis to provide supportive services for victims and eliminate domestic and sexual violence in Berks County. Although we are in the midst of the PeaceTrust300 five-year cycle, our group continues to grow. Please consider joining us today.
